Hello, my name is Jack. I am currently saving to get my first professional binder, and I thought I'd put it out there on here, also, I know that a lot of you don't have very good resources, and it seems hard to find good information for us out there, so I thought I would post some links to the resources I, myself, have gathered. Hopefully this can help all my fellow FTMs to bind properly and avoid hurting themselves.
First, there's Transguys,
transguys.com/features/chest-b…
This link is about how to Chest Bind safely, it has videos about the dangers of improper binding, and a list of resources for proper binders, also, help with how to put a binder on, and the like.
The second is a page on LiveJournal, called FTM Garage sale.
ftmgaragesale.livejournal.com/
This link has a group of people trading/selling/giving away things that every FTM needs at some point except Hormones. This is more for...if you've lost weight, and you want to trade your binder for a smaller one with someone who's gained, or maybe if you get Top surgery, and you don't need your binder anymore.
The third, CheckItOutGuys, is about something else,
www.checkitoutguys.ca/
This is about how important it is to still get those ...feminine exams we all hate so much.
This one, Susan's place, is just a blog with information,
www.susans.org/forums/index.ph…
A place like this club, where you can talk.
This fifth, and final one, is about the changes to the Standards of Care for Trans people.
www.thegavoice.com/index.php/n…
Well, I hope you all find this very helpful, and if anyone wants to donate money to my Binder fund, just comment. Anything else you need, I may be able to help, so again, just comment. *smiles*

*edit* I also made a Tumblr for those of us who are a little feminine, or too masculine... those who are a bit different. It's here the-opposite-extreme.tumblr.co…

GREAT READS FOR LGBT+ recommend your favorites
Would love to see your personal recommendations of LGBT+ relevant books!
It's been a rough year starting out and we can all use a little inspiration or help. If you have a moment, please comment below with a book that has helped yourself or a LGBT+ loved one.
(Below I listed two books that have really helped me become a more peaceful person and broaden my understanding of LGBT identity, history, and politics. I would love to see the groups recommendations!)
Found some great reads and wanted to share with the community:
Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving - Pete Walker.
Cannot recommend this enough, reading it myself and just touchin
Coming out of the deep dark closet
I told my mom that I wanted pants that were more loose to not show my hips, and my mom said that she wouldn't because I can't avoid showing my fucking hips due to me being "female". What do I do?
I don't know who I am...
Hi!
I'm a person at 17 years that's for the moment questioning if I'm really feeling happy with the feminine body I was born with. When I look myself in the mirror, I can't see myself liking the body I have now and would rather have a flat chest and a shlong (And beard, I totally love beards and mustaches, idk why), but at the same time I always get angry when someone's accidentally called me "he" and "him". I'm so confused right now.
So I'd really want to talk with some other people that's maybe thinking the same or possibly has gone a few steps further. I don't think it matter's whether you're going from FTM or MTF or even to something el
Petition to recognise non-binary genders
Hey you awesome people,
here is an american petition to legally recognise non-binary genders. Which means: American genderqueer/agender/other non-binary people could finally get the recognition they deserve!
You can even sign it if you don't live in the States. I already did!
Signing up to the page takes like 2 minutes and it's for a good cause! It's already half way signed and we have until April 20, so go for it!

This is great! Thank you. Particularly interested in the 7th version of the standards of care, which I approve of greatly.
